'Pitch In' For New Zealand Food Network
Starting this World Food Day, the New Zealand Food Network has 12 months to see how many times we can ‘fill’ Auckland’s iconic Eden Park rugby field, with food (and essential items). That's over 100,000 meals to those in need.
Currently, 1 in 5 Kiwi kids are living in households where food runs out. The New Zealand Food Network collects surplus and donated food from businesses and redistributes it to those facing food insecurity. 100% of the donations from Pitch In will go towards feeding Kiwis in need via NZFN’s 64 nationwide recipient Food Hubs. They're calling on businesses and the public to donate either bulk food, household essentials or money to help them reach their goal. You can help by visiting pitchin.org.nz and making a donation. Together, we can get food where it’s needed most.
